Ignite As Américas 2009

The meeting was to talk about an official meeting in Brasilia, our capital, with the delegates Toddy from São Paulo and Jaqueline from Recife, where one of the main topics is the possibility of Brazil could be next country to host the Ignite.

No stopping the fire now!

What is there to say about Ignite the Americas that have not been said before? Maybe I should go the extreme and say what I observed of people when they weren’t looking. Maybe I should post “what happens in Toronto stays in Toronto photos” and embarrass some of my fellow delegates.

Hello!

Here is the link to my new youtube video that documents my weight loss--please forward! I am sorry that the video is only in English, but you can watch the pictures and get the point if you don't speak English.

A new beginning

Portrait de Sydney Latimer aka Divinewords
Hey all--I am so tired I haven't had time to write a blog about Ignite the Americas; however, I will be writing something soon. Just know that you can contact me. I didn't get everyone's contact information, so I will be trying to obtain the information for some of you out there. I love you all and miss you already.

The Experience

Portrait de Josue Salazar Zuñiga
Ignite the Americas has been an amazing experience so far. I could have never imagined how real this would turn up to be, we all knew the issues, but being able to address them so deeply, and most important of all, being able to help create tangible solutions to them and having a channel of communication open with the OAS has been an incredible opportunity.

Artists around the Americas are often neglected, arts under valued and diminished to the point where we need to step up and create social change. Which is exactly what we're all here for.
