The Experience

Ignite the Americas has been an amazing experience so far. I could have never imagined how real this would turn up to be, we all knew the issues, but being able to address them so deeply, and most important of all, being able to help create tangible solutions to them and having a channel of communication open with the OAS has been an incredible opportunity.

Artists around the Americas are often neglected, arts under valued and diminished to the point where we need to step up and create social change. Which is exactly what we're all here for.

Despite the issues we've had (which were meant to happen considering the broadness of the group), we have been able to work together on extremely important issues and come up with some great ideas to help improve the situation across the Americas, and for that, and I'm sure I speak for all delegates when I say this, we are extremely grateful and proud to make our collective voices heard.
